The Crate NY & Lost Boyz Collaboration…

This past Saturday, the illest set ever happened in Far Rock at the infamous “The Crate” store featuring the most exciting people to date…

Son @freakykah of fallen celebrity rapper Freaky Tah, presented a new clothing line in collaboration with @thecrateny in honor of the Queens native rap group “Lost Boyz“. Popular artist Mr. Cheeks performed his hottest hits like “Renee” and “Lights, Camera, Action” … the crowd was lit and in sync with Mr. Cheeks as he danced along side @freakykah to the songs while performing. It was a stellar moment very nostalgic indeed, because you see the spirit of Freaky Tah lives thru his son @freakykah, not only does Kah look like his father; his mannerism resemble that of his father too! It’s as if Freaky Tah comes down from the heavens whenever his son touches the stage. Kah continues to carry the torch not only for his family but also for history, and the culture of hiphop… This is only the beginning stay tune….

Walk by @stacks821

He is one of the most humble dudes you’ll meet outta South Jamaica Housing aka “40 projects” BUT DON’T CROSS HIM, it gets deadly… so play nice…haha

I speak of the lyrical assassin name @stacks821 , he has done so much for his people, his family, and people in general, which is why he deserves to shine and more.

Stacks voice alone on a song automatically makes you stop in your tracks and immediately turn up the volume cause he has something to say and u must listen. He breaks down situations into amazing metaphors and his bars are bullets rounding off on u back to back no hesitation. To be honest if he really goes hard the way I believe he can, He would be a threat to many in today’s music industry period!

Stronger, Wiser @ready10k

I interviewed the handsome lad just last year on former website theQweens.com, the artist @ready10k was hungry, active and eager to tell his story. He had gone thru some thangs and was excited about being in the studio.

Well the looks of things, @ready10k kept his word and had been aggressively pushing his music and brand. I caught up with @ready10k at his performance for the Ryan Show at Tavern Lounge in Woodhaven, Queens. He had the crowd lit and reciting his lyrics back to him as him and @gudda134 performed popular their single together.

@ready10k song appearing in the video above is entitled “Major Comeback” speaks volumes to my current life situations, even to the point where I’ve shed tears. You see @ready10k drops jewels of life’s harsh reality when he says “All I ever wanted was to chase my dreams, but behind close doors it ever what it seems”

Oh, how true those words rang out to me, I said dayuum this guy is on to something. Peep him on soundcloud, spoyify, and YouTube.

The Graduate: @lovebertknox

I arrived at the studio entrance and was greeted by this smiley face, light complexion, afro poppin youngster… As we head down the stairs we chat about the engineer @teardropz718 , whose worked with artist such as Dave East, Mic Geronimo, Cadillac Tah, Murda Mookz and responsible for the breakout sensational rap group 821.

We reach where “Teardropz” is stationed and then the magic begins… A melody plays then a voice begins to spit in harmony with the beat, Teardropz turns from the soundboard to

introduce us to each other , “Qween this is Bert Knox, Knox this is Qween” aaaaaand behold the youngster with the afro is the young star aka artist I’m in the session smiling about as the song plays on…

His rhymes are poetic, amusing and he’s able to chime you into his world as if his songs are but a simple conversation he’s having with you. Bert Knox is a unique individual who is determined to not be the “Norm“, a recent graduate from Hofstra University shows you he’s about to flip the game in hiphop, follow his journey on Instagram/lovebertknox
